Golden Retriever Treats Carbs as Emotional Support — Thanks to This Toy

Every dog has something that provides them with emotional support. For some, it could be a blanket or another piece of cloth, while for others, it could be any plush toy. Even this video shows a Golden Retriever with her emotional support toy. But what is hilarious is that instead of choosing any duck or other animal-based toy, the pooch opted for a baguette toy. No wonder, given the pup’s love for carbs, her clip is loved by many.

Every dog needs one emotional support toy to provide security and comfort and reduce anxiety and stress when alone or in company. Moreover, such toys even stimulate their hunting instincts and often become comforting companions that every pooch carries around or sleeps with. 

No wonder even this Golden Retriever named Tilly finds comfort in her emotional support toy. However, instead of choosing a usual toy like a duck, dinosaur, and so on, the little fur ball finds comfort in something unusual – a baguette toy. And looking at how smartly the pup hinted her love for carbs, her mom, Amber, admitted in the caption, “carbs cure emotional distress.”

And it seems true, as on @thegoldentillybean, Tilly is seen holding the baguette toy in her mouth at all times while wagging her tail, hinting that she is happy with it. Be it while standing, sitting on the couch, or going to her bed, the golden pooch does not let go of the toy even for a second. However, once she drops the toy by mistake while sitting on the couch, Tilly tries to stop it with her paws and looks at her mom, as if asking for her toy back. 

Her love for carbs surely was liked by many online, as one person said, “Tilly is just the cutest girl.” While another person even suggested that “She’d have a field day in Paris.” A third pet lover also confessed, “Carbs solve everything.”
