Dogs love to play with toys because they provide mental and physical stimulation, help relieve stress, offer comfort, and, most importantly, help them bond with their parents. That is why when a pooch sees a toy, they immediately want to grab it and bring it home. Even this video is about a Golden Retriever who returns to the place where he found a toy car to retrieve it. But alas! The car is no longer there, leaving him sad.

This Golden Retriever named Chester surely loves cars, and to show how much, his mom uploaded two TikTok and Instagram videos showing how he found the car and its aftermath.

In the first video, Chester is seen out for a walk with his mom and son, Chase, when he finds a toy monster truck on the sidewalk. The pooch instantly took to the green car and wanted to take the “extra special treasure” home. He sits down beside the toy and tries to grab it from his mouth, but the mom stops him, since it belongs to someone else and they might come looking for it. Despite the reasoning, the eight-year-old Chester refuses to budge and lies down on the road when stopped to take the toy.

The sad face of Chester and “the moment he doubles down!” made many emotional. As a result, one of the fans asked the mom to return to the same place with the pooch and let him have the car if it’s still there. As a reply, the mom posted part 2 showing Chester going to the same place with his pack, only to find that the car was no longer there. “It was gone,” mentioned the parent in the clip as Chester looked for it at the spot.

His reaction melted many hearts online as one said on the Instagram post, “It breaks my heart to see a sad Chester.  I can’t take it….” Another pet lover mentioned, “Aw, I feel bad for Chester! I hope he ends up getting one!.” Some followers even offered to send the toy to the pooch. An individual commented, “That’s it I’m going shopping where is the drop off zone.” While another Chester fan mentioned, “Sending a truck right now.”
